QA, QC Engineer (HVAC/Plumbing/ Piping)

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineer
Total of 8 years experience in the same field (i.e. 3 years experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Projects, infrastructure, etc., and 5 years in the inspection specialty).
Shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of codes such as SMCNA, Uniform Mechanical Codes, applicable NFPA, ASHRAE Handbooks, Uniform Plumbing Code, International Plumbing Code and/or equivalent standards.
Ensure conformity of installation/erection in accordance with specifications, relevant drawings and/or approved method statement.
Conduct Q.C. Inspection, quality control reporting and recording of the HVAC, fire protection, sewage (bio-treatment) and plumbing works, etc.
Responsible for implementation of Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedures and Inspection & Test Plans, etc.
Conduct pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning, reliability and performance tests for all HVAC system, fire protection and bio treatment equipment, etc.
Implementation of quality management procedures as required ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Conduct vendor inspection at manufacturers facility as required by the client.
To oversee the Quality Assurance System of sub-contractors and ensure that they conform to specifications.

Document Controller - QA/QC


Experience: 7 to 12 yrs.


Job Description:-

Reports to the Project QA/QC Manager
Ensure that all controlled Quality documents related to the Project are maintained to the latest issue, and that these documents are made available at all locations where operations essential to the effective functioning of the Quality Management System are performed.

Verify that only the last revision drawings, submittals, etc. are distributed to all locations and involved parties concerned including sub contractors. 

Ensure that all obsolete documents shall be withdrawn and stamped Superseded if retained for record purposes.

Maintain project drawing/documents distribution record

Control & maintain the system for issuance recording / filing, tracking, Retrieval of documents like procedures, plans, QA/QC records, Specifications, drawings and related documents. 

Responsibilities include record keeping, all documents such as specification procedures, inspection schedule and records, surveillance report, inspection release notice and quality records book with numbering system according to project filing procedure. Handling of all engineering documents. Controlling all records and sub-contractors documents. 

Prepare all documents based on the quality procedures for internal and external audit. Transmittal of drawings, quality procedures, related documentation to the concerned contractors, departments, vendors and client. 

Maintaining all correspondence and other transmittals from the Clients and other contractor / suppliers / vendors etc in a systematic way to facilitate an easy reference at all time. 

Submitting technical documents for review and approval. 

Well aware of all types of quality documents like ITP, Checklist, RFI, method statements, Nonconformance report, Technical queries, Inspection assignment package, Disposition Report, Material Request, Technical Approval Request, Hydro test packages and other miscellaneous project contract documents. 

Preparing and update of various logs and registers. 

QA/QC Civil Engineer


Experience: 7 to 12 yrs.


JOB QUALIFICATION / DESCRIPTION: 

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering 

Overall six (6) years relevant experience in quality control field (three years in inspection specialty and three year in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical projects.

To ensure that the Project Quality Plan is adhered throughout.
To read and understand the Project Specifications/Standards and that all work is in compliance with approved drawings.

To raise and document site non-conformances and investigate the corrective action.

To document customer complaints.

To raise and implement Inspections and Test Plans for all activities in the Building and Industrial Sector.

To raise site inspections sheets with check lists.
To co-ordinate all site inspections and ensure that they are complete by the relevant personnel.

To correct non-conformances found during the Quality Managers or Accreditation Companys Audit.

To maintain quality records in an orderly and easily accessible manner.

To ensure that incoming materials are adequately inspected and documented by the appropriate personnel.

To oversee the Quality Assurance/ Control Systems of sub-contractors and ensure that they conform to specifications.
To ensure that external and internal testing is scheduled, conducted and test results are reviewed for compliance.

Should have knowledge in their individual discipline in construction activities

QA/QC Electrical Engineer


Experience: 7 to 12 yrs.


JOB QUALIFICATION / DESCRIPTION: 

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering 

Must have at least 5 years experience in related position.

Out of which 3 years should be in inspection line withOil & Gas, Petroleum/Petrochemical projects. 

Throughout working knowledge of National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IES or equivalent standard, electrical installation including materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries.

Analyzes applicable codes, standards and project contract documents and monitors construction activities to ensure compliance.

Monitors and/or evaluates electrical tests and inspections such as ground-fault, ground resistance, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity, capacity, load and other electrical field tests as required.

Field checks installation and location of electrical equipment, electrical duct, conduit, cable, panels and other components of the electrical system being installed. Assures compliance with approved submittals.

Monitors all electrical installations to assure circuitry, phasing, equipment and grounding adhere to construction documents and Company Electric Code requirements.

Provides general inspection on all construction and subcontractor work to assure a safe and workmanlike operation.
Verifies equipment settings, alignment, testing and energization requirements.

Evaluates adequacy of Contractor Quality Control (CQC) programs. Monitors contractors compliance with approved Quality Control Plan.

Makes recommendations for improvements to standard CQC provisions, and also defining quality assurance requirements.

QA/QC Mechanical/ HVAC Engineer

QA/QC Engineer/ Inspector Mechanical/ Welding


Experience: 7 to 12 yrs.


JOB QUALIFICATION / DESCRIPTION: 

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

With 6 years relevant experience in related discipline.

Responsible for UT/RT/MT/PT and Hardness Test and Radiography Film interpretation throughout the project.

Review and checking of welding procedures.

Conduct the procedure qualification test as per WPS.
Organize and conduct the welders qualification test as per ASME Section IX and client specification.

Check only approved electrodes, wires and gas are used.
Control welding consumables and documents.

Visual inspection of pipe fit up and welds joints.

Monitor the performance of the welders on the basis of radiographic inspection and promoting corrective action when necessary.

After completion of spool fabrication, checking the final dimension, material traceability, orientation and cleanliness.

NDE inspection and pressure tests are carried out and documented in accordance with the approved procedures and QC plan for site activities.

Collect inspection records and maintain and update the inspection and test status.

Preparation of Quality Procedure ITP, WPS etc., Material Identification, verification of material test reports, visual inspection of weld joints, maintaining records of inspection, arrangements NDT as per the project requirements.

Preparation of test package and final documentation.

QA/QC Engineer/ Inspector Painting/ Coating


Experience: 7 to 12 yrs.

JOB QUALIFICATION / DESCRIPTION: 

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Engineering

Certification in CSWIP BGAS or NACE-2

Must have at least 6 years experience out of which 3 years should be in inspection line with Oil & Gas, Petroleum / Petrochemical Industries.

Throughout working knowledge and proven ability of all phases and types of critical coating applications and methods and recognized industry standards and critical coatings.

Site QA/QC Manager


Experience: 10 to 20 yrs.


QA/QC Manager will have min. 10 to 15 years experience in Oil & Gas& Refinery

Degree in any discipline, with additional qualification in Welding/Civil/Elect etc.

He shall monitor all quality related activities on the project.

He shall ensure that the project quality objectives are identified, documented and made available with all work groups in compliance with the project QMS requirements.

He should be familiar with all industry quality standard procedures and will have experience of implementing quality control processes within construction companies.

He shall Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements

He shall monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and to recommend and implement improvements when required.

He should be able to Interface with clients construction supervisors and QC personnel to deal with Specific issues. 

He shall identify the relevant quality-related training needs.

He shall prepare the quality management reports.

He shall allocate work to allthe Quality Supervisors and control them.

He shall monitor the quality performance of all the third party inspection agencies.

Evaluate allproject QA/QC employees through performance reviews, ongoing coaching and feedback method.

He should be able to Interface with startup/operations to ensure clear understanding of project quality requirements.

He shall ensure the effective implementation of non-conformance, corrective action, and preventiveaction management processes.

He should have an excellent understanding of systems, processes and ISO standards.

He should have excellent report writing, data analysis and multi tasking skills.

He should have excellent communication skills and English language skills.

Report to the Head office on performance of the project QMS and any need for improvement.

Site QA/QC Supervisor


Experience: 8 to 13 yrs.


QA/QC Supervisor shall have min. 8 to 10 years exp. In Oil & Gas or Refinery

Degree/Diploma in any discipline with additional qualification in their respective field

He shall monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports

He should be able to control all achieve documentation upon the completion of the project.

He shall review all special inspection and material testing perform by third parties.

He shall arrange timely inspection and approval of all materials / equipment delivered / completed installations at site
He should be able to lead a group of QA/QC engineers and inspectors on the project.

He shall allocate work to the Quality Engineers/inspectors and control them.

He shall maintain controls on all the QA/QC related documentation and records.

He shall check the Subcontractors Q.C. procedures to ensure they are consistent with clients Q.C. procedure.

He should be able to perform internal audits on subcontractor personnel, to ensure they are working in compliance with their approved working procedures.

He shall manage the NCR issue and follow-up with the concerned parties.

He should be able to recommend and follow up corrective actions to preclude internal (or external) deficiencies.

He shall ensure that all necessary Quality construction records such as inspection and test documents are filed and maintained properly inside clients and subcontractor organization.

He should be able to create, read, interpret and implement specifications, quality standards, work instructions and regulations is required.

He should be able to train and orient the QA/QC inspectors with the applicable project quality systems and procedures.

He should assist the QA/QC Manager in the development, coordination, and supervision of the project Quality Management System.

He should have the problem solving skills required. He must be able to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
