-Loading of onboard voyages and closing of these voyages in relevant revenue systems in a timely manner.
-Controlling guest & crew expenditures while onboard.
-Ensure that there is a method of payment collected for each guest at all times,either credit card or cash deposits.
-Balancing all ship Revenue system on a daily & voyage basis,identifying,researching and correcting any discrepancies.
-Reporting daily & voyage revenue figures to onboard and shoreside management
-Monitor & process the shipboard inventory thru the crunchtime inventory management system
-Generate vendor orders and submit to corporate procurement
-Review receiving of items
-Monitor issuing activity from central stores to the operating centers
-Perform analysis of items activity & pricing fluctuations & submit fundings to shipboard management & corporate procurement
-Participate in physical counting of central stores
-Generate month end cost reports
-Additional duties : onboard safety related,comment cards scanning,training of new accountants,participate in special projects as required by shipboard & shoreside management.
-Responsible for the ship's Pay office safe, keep cash funds secure & property accounted for.
-Pass Wonderlic tests
-Degree/Diploma in Accounting,Finance or Business ASdminstration
-Minimum of five years experience in an accounting position
-Shipboard exprience is a plus
