Senior English-Hindi Translator for Netherlands, Ireland

The ideal candidate is a native Hindi speaker with an excellent command of English language and at least 10 years of full time English into Hindi translation experience in the software domain. Ability to work with virtual teams, high exposure to translation automation tools and prior experience in translation project coordination activities are a must. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills desired. Ownership, accountability, agility and willingness to learn new technologies are a strong advantage.

Experience Requirements
At least 10 years full-time English-Hindi software and user interface translation experience
At least 3 years full-time English-Hindi software and user interface review experience
Prior experience in creating and maintaining terminology lists and style guides 
Understanding of software development lifecycle
High exposure to translation automation tools
Experience in handling translation project coordination activities with clients and vendors
Experience in working with virtual teams
Experience in working with a software bug reporting system
Knowledge of document version control systems
Ability to handle large amount of emails
Excellent spoken and written communication skills


Responsibilities
Translate SW UI, user documentation, help files
Review translation done by other translators
Submit translations to the client
Prioritize and fix translation quality issues
Maintain style guides and automated terminology lists
Prepare translation kits and assign them to translators
Monitor and manage schedules of translators
Track and maintain translator workloads and submit


Educational Requirements
Native speaker from National Capital Region or Central India
MA, MPhil, Phd in Hindi Language from a reputed university
PG Diploma in English-Hindi Translation Studies from a reputed university
Advanced knowledge of US English
