- Job Description
The Store Manager leads all efforts in attaining our mission of delighting customers. He/she does this primarily by managing the stores day-to-day operations so that the store achieves and consistently maintains high levels of FSC. He/she also ensures the proper implementation of all standard operating procedures/processes so that sales and profitability targets are achieved.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
FSC
Responsible for the overall floor control and shift management during the assigned shift
Supervises opening and closing activities
Ensures cleaning procedures are done according to standards
Implements manpower schedule and positioning
Lead the store crew in achieving FSC that is satisfactory or better than satisfactory
Ensures food quality and availability during the shift
Ensures speed of service standards are met (i. e pending orders served on time)
Engages in customer relations
Resolves FSC problems that come up
Attends to and resolves customer complaints, and addresses any customer feedback during the shift
Documentation of customer feedback
Implements and ensures effectiveness of programs to improve speed of service
SALES
Ensures achievement of sales target during assigned shift
Implements sales building programs during shift (e.g. suggestive selling,2nd/3rd order taking)
Gets feedback and evaluates the effectiveness of sales building activities
Does customer surveys and interacts with customers during shift
Updates team on competitive moves (i.e., new products, promotions, LSM activities) that will affect stores sales performance
Conducts competitor product checks
Ensures correct use of in-store and out of store merchandising
Performs community relations activities
PROFIT
Implements cost control measures to achieve profit targets (Costs include: Manpower, Food and Paper, repairs and Maintenance, Operating costs)
Ensures that optimum level of inventory is maintained during the shift and that wastages are minimized. Manages issuance of stocks.
PEOPLE
Ensures the proper implementation of crew hiring and selection
Responsible for proper orientation, training and development of the store crew
Monitors the performance and competence of crew and conducts regular performance reviews.
Counsels and disciplines crew members
Assists the Store Manager in training and coaching Management Trainees and Promanagers
ADMINISTRATION
Ensures the effectiveness of safety and security programs through strict implementation of standard procedures and proper documentation. This includes cash control and fixed asset management
Ensures compliance with government requirements through timely processing of required permits and licenses
Ensures the implementation of regular planned maintenance activities
