Assistant Supply Chain Manager in Asia Bolts Industries LLC, UAE

A leading industrial fastener manufacturing company in Dubai, UAE is recruiting the following:

Assistant Supply Chain Manager/ In charge Procurement:

Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
1. To direct the process of procurement planning and inventory control, checking daily PR from PPC, maintain and provide supply of RM, FG, Consumables, custom declaration, incoming shipment etc..
2. To drive and ensure that every step of the process is functioning as effectively as possible, to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities.
3. Build and maintain good relationships with the clients, line managers as well as with the entire team to make them understand the needs and objectives.
4. To take action to reduce costs that is focused on creating greater efficiencies, economies of scale or better quality resources for the department.
5. Ensuring that the financial objectives set by the firm are met properly.
6. Finding new means to reduce the cost and increase the profits legitimately with great familiarity.
7. Coordinate work efforts of others to ensure integration and completion of work against expectation.
8. Effectively uses systems and processes to measure, monitor, manage, and impact performance. Improves processes and builds stability.
9. Ability to convert general data and findings into applied, specific information and suggestions that add value to business planning.
10. Knowledge of the legal terminology and language related to supplier and/or vendor agreements and contracts.
11. Ability to evaluate and ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds defined performance standard and adheres to overall company policies and procedures.

Candidate profile:

5 to 8 years experience in sourcing, supplier development, project management, market research and team management in manufacturing company. Knowledge of manufacturing process like forging, sheet metal, heat treatment process used in manufacturing of fasteners. Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills, team management skills.

Dip/ Degree in Mech Engg with knowledge in ERP and Auto CAD.
