HSE Manager in Larsen & Toubro Limited, Saudi Arabia





- Develop and lead implementation of the HSE-MS as required by the Contract/ client and in line with corporate and legislative requirements in relation to project HSE Critical Activities (e.g.: Engineering, Construction, HUC, Operations, Contractor interfaces)

- Develop an integrated approach to HSE and Hazard & Effects Management across project and contractors.

- Support the planning and execution of the internal HSE Audit and compliance assurance programs.
- Develop / review / update all HSE Management System documents Monitor for effectiveness and assist in implementation of Project HSE Management Plan.
- Implement and monitor HSE objectives, targets and performance standards, monitoring and verification programs, to ensure Client HSE expectations are being achieved by EPC Contractors and Subcontractors across Packages.
- Establish the ZERO Harm culture and lead the investigation team in Root Cause Analysis investigation on incidents.
Review / approve Subcontractors and Vendors for project equipment/ services

- Conduct regular site and location visits/reviews.
- Manage the Projects HSE KPIs Leading& Lagging indicators, HSE Audits, Equipment & Personal Premob., 

- Lead the HSE site visit, and chair the client & contractor weekly safety meetings and HSSE monthly Committee site visits and meetings.
- Liaise with Ministries/regulatory agencies to present HSE project plans/data for permitting requirements. Also with other stakeholders both local & foreign for project management requirement and performance.
- Responsible for HSE budget and HSE equipment procurement.
- Preparation, compiling & analyzing trends for monthly HSE status reports including all leading and lagging indicators and recommending to management on Safety improvement initiatives.

- Organizing and participating in internal & external Project site Safety Meetings, conducting HSE process & systems assurance audits at all Contract location and raising noncompliance reports and follow up for closure.

- Provides engineering, technical and HSE feedback on design, construction, installation, commissioning related to HSE discipline, e.g. Review Design, Plan, Procedures, HSE Studies Leading, engaging and building confidence in Team members.
- Collect the HSE statistics from the client to maintain and prepare the weekly and monthly project HSE report for the Project Management and corporate QHSE.
- Facilitation of company / client Safety surveillance Audits and developing the Risk Management Process for project activities and providing of strong control measures on Healthy Work Practices.
