Project Procurement Manager in Larsen & Toubro Limited, Saudi Arabia





-- Development of Procurement Procedures and Strategies,

-- Instructions to bidders for the overall Procurement and Materials Management activities related to respective Project(s). 
-- Prepare, maintain and update Project Procurement Plan according to engineering requisitions and bulk MTOs in line with Project schedule

-- Liaise with Engineering Disciplines, Cost Control, Construction during the Project.

-- Actively participate in the process of securing the long lead items with prime responsibility closely work with engineering and supplier for the procurement and timely delivery of Long Lead Items which are highly critical for the overall project schedule
-- Manage and control workloads of procurement team members. 

-- Take timely measures for improved productivity.

-- Participate in preparation of bid documentation, bid clarifications / evaluation exercises, Negotiate the most favorable price, delivery and contract terms & conditions.

-- Active participation in Client, Vendors (local & overseas), Fabrication Contractor(s) Meeting & Project Review Meetings
Manage functional responsibilities of purchasing, expediting, logistics and material control.

-- Post award supplier management and timely delivery of the goods to the fabrications site. Assist the Logistics for transportation of materials to the site(s) and importation formalities.

-- Co-ordinate with site material control for the record of deliveries, damages / shortages. Co-ordinate with site Material reconciliation.

-- Co-ordinate with Client for Master List preparation, submission and approval process.

-- Interface and Co-ordinate with other EPC Contractor(s) of Client.
