Job Description 

The Role: 
• The Lecturers/Senior Lecturers (L/SL) in Engineering are responsible for the design, delivery and assessment of modules which form part of Colleges Engineering Programmes.
• Responsible for Carrying out scholarly, enterprise and income generation activities. Delivery and assessment must conform to the quality assurance standards and procedures set by the Academic Board of the College. 

Duties and Responsibilities 
• Prepare Modules with clearly defined aims and objectives consistent with those of the approved Programme to which they contribute
• Prepare and maintain Course Files as required by the College
• Apply methods and styles of course work and examination assessment, including use of the marking and assessment protocols approved by the Academic Board, which effectively encourage student learning and assess the level of student attainment.
• Give timely and regularly updated advice to the Library and to IT Services on the book, journal and IT resources needed for effective delivery of their courses.
