Assistant Oracle Manager for Oman

Nationality: Indian / Pakistani

Our client, the largest FMCG distribution company in Oman is presently seeking to hire an Assistant IT Manager- Oracle Apps to be based in Muscat, Oman.

o This position is responsible for execution of Oracle EBS Implementation and related production support activity. The candidate has to be involved in and contribute to all stages of full lifecycle implementation. 
o This role will consult with all levels of the organization to engineer EBS solution across different modules (mainly SCM, Finance, HRMS and Logistics) and provide business analysis and necessary techno-functional support for the purpose of efficient Oracle eBusiness Suite implementation. 
o Provide techno-functional support on various modules in Supply Chain (Sales distribution, inventory, procurement , demand planning), Finance (Payable, Receivable, GL and FA) , HRMS and WMS
o Identify and translate requirements into technology architecture and infrastructure design specifications. 
o Must have technical design experience in delivering various RICE Objects.
o Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve, automate, and simplify business processes
o Managing and maintaining business information systems, databases, software and tools in order to ensure the availability of current, accurate, and complete data required to support business planning and informed decision-making. 
o Analyzing business systems, processes, databases, software and tools to identify inefficiencies and assess opportunities to improve performance of business systems.
o Help establish and use best practices in all aspects of ERP Implementation including solution design and development. Optimize the project activities by fine-tuning the processes, procedures, tools utilization, trainings, root cause analysis, documenting lessons learned and contributes to build knowledge repository
o Providing program schedules, tracking of project delivery and metrics on an overall project delivery.


The ideal candidate must have the following experience:
o Must have 7+ years experience in Oracle EBS solution with at least 3 plus years in R12.
o At least 2 full life cycle implementations of Oracle EBS Systems preferably in a FMCG environment.
o Must have worked on multiple areas of Oracle EBS and must possess strong techno-functional skills in different modules of Oracle EBS – Supply Chain, Finance, and HRMS
o Knowledge of Business Systems & Processes: Knowledge of supported business systems, system capabilities and operational knowledge of business processes and workflow for applicable business unit/division
o Must have expert level skills in SQL/PLSQL, ADF, Form, Interface, workflow, OAF, BI Publisher, AOL tools, System administrator, and Oracle Alerts.
o Experience using OSB, XML gateway, SOA integrated gateway.
o Experience in building and maintaining relationships with cross functional teams
o Must be equally adept at doing development and providing production
support.
o Must possess strong communication skills and be able to lead and contribute in all stages of implementation and production support
