Chief Accountant for Qatar

• The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant ( C.A only )
• Minimum 7-12 Years in similar position in a mid-size organization 
• Scaffolding projects, hire & sales 
• Submission of Monthly Financial Statements & MIS Reports to senior Management. 
• Managing and reviewing all General Ledger transactions, provisions, accruals and financial adjustments. 
• Formulation of Budgets & Financial Forecasts. 
• Reviewing projects costing and reporting variances with appropriate suggestions to mitigate the impact of negative variances. 
• Review & follow up of Projects Work In Progress for timely billings. 
• Following up timely return of all materials from projects & hire contracts. 
• Review and approval of all payment transactions and staff payroll. 
• Managing & Monitoring cash flow position. 
• Verification of all capex requests. 
• .Setting up and reviewing customer credit limits & terms. 
• Review & follow up of outstanding accounts receivable. 
• Working with sales team and management for preparation & review of financial aspects of sales bids and proposals and highlighting risk considerations.
  
• General coordination of all department activities and supervising and reviewing subordinates work. 
• Cross Departmental coordination with Sales, Operations, Procurement, HR, Yard / Warehouse and Contracts Dept. to enable timely closure of all financial transactions. 
• Coordination with banks and insurance companies for routine banking and insurance requirements. 
• Coordination with Internal Auditors & External Auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and to address their audit requirements / queries. 
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Email, Internet 
• Working knowledge of ERP (Oracle ERP preferred) 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Good teamwork & interpersonal skills 
• Gulf Experience Preferred.(Can join soon.)
