Job Description:
- Carrying out IT security internal audits in line with the annual audit plan and special requirements of management. 
- Analysing systems, processes and procedures at NIC and evaluating these against policies, regulations and best practice. 
- Raising audit issues where faults or inefficiencies are found. 
- Proposing workable recommendations to remedy issues identified.
- Completion and maintenance of audit documentation in line with Organisational practice, Production of audit reports in a 
timely and efficient manner in line with organisational practice. Communicating findings and recommendations with client departments and audit management.
- Carrying out ISO 27001 internal follow-ups audits in line with the annual audit plan and ISO 27001 Certification special requirements of management.
- Develops IT Audit Plan in coordination with the concerned sections within Security Audit department/sections such as Risk .
- Participates in the assessment of systems physical and logical security.
- Participates in IT audits at NIC and its branches in order to determine the extent of compliance with formalised policies/regulations and 

identifies / recommends enhancements to IT systems.
- Analyses IT audit findings, identifies root-causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepares formal written comments sheet, and submit these observations to concerned manager.
- Holds discussions with concerned manager to communicate exceptions noted and/ or to understand facts and obtain explanations.
- Report immediately any observed and/or suspected information security incidents and security breaches to concerned manager.
- Participates in the assessment and evaluation of acquisition of new system from an IT audit point of view.
- Utilizes computer assisted audit techniques to manage the audit projects.
- Implement Department policies and procedures and ensure compliance with related rules/regulations.
- Keeps abreast of new trends and rules/regulations related to the Department.
- Participates in the Implementation of Department related projects.

Skills: 
- Must have experience in same role.
- Preference will be given to related Certifications holder professionals.
