    Previous experience in large catering company / 5 star Hotel is preferred.

    Job Description :

    To provide strategy and innovation in line with commercial food and menu planning that improve the Companys reputation for food quality and enhances client and customer experience. Responsible for driving compliance of Health, Safety and Food Hygiene regulations. Drive sales through centrally driven menu plans and promotions and ensure compliance through preferred suppliers. Provide high quality service to customers and client in line with a food service offer that is applicable to sector and client. 

    Key Accountabilities 
    To develop and maintain good working relationships with the Client 
    Take an active part in any unit sales promotions and make suggestions to help increase sales
    Menu planning, food cost & wastage control, indent and staffing
    To ensure portion control, correct preparation and storage methods avoid wastage and keep down costs
    Plan and cost weekly menus, special events and hospitality requests ensuring that they achieve and maintain budgeted food costs if centrally driven offers are not available 
    Ensure weekly stocktaking is carried out
    Maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
    Person Specification
    Competent to work within or lead, manage and develop the team
    Acts in line with guidelines and procedures, to ensure the team operates to its maximum potential 
    Always strives to deliver above and beyond the expectations set by management, customer and client 
    Has a proven desire for the delivery of the highest quality of service and food offer obtainable 
    Has the drive to ensure that all results are attained in the most professional and honest manner
    Experience of leading a successful team
    Experience in an Exec or Chef role at a similar level
    Demonstrate innovation and strategic direction in food planning and menu development
    Passion about food and customer service
    Food hygiene certificate

    Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology

    Minimum 5 -7 years experience
