Our client a US Storage Vendor is looking for Software Engineers to join their expanding team in Malaysia. It is an excellent opportunity for IT Professionals who want to be part of a dynamic company. 

Job purpose
Play a key role in the design, installation, testing and maintenance of software systems.
Responsible for writing and coding individual programmes or providing an entirely new software resource.
Accomplishes programming project requirements by coaching programmers.
Meets programming standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying work process improvements; implementing new technology.

Responsibilities
Getting involved in ALL stages of software development
Plan programming projects by confirming program objective and specifications with clients.
Arranges program specifications by confirming logical sequence and flowcharts; researching and employing established operations.
Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Work with global teams at strange time zone.
May occasionally require to travel.

Competencies

University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or relevant discipline
At least 5-6  years relevant working experience
" Hands-on commercial experience in Web Design and Development techniques like C/C++ and /or Java 
Good experience in CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP and/or Perl.
Database Knowledge of Impala, Vertica, Cassandra, KairosDb and MySQL 
Data modelling experience
Cluster Knowledge in Hadoopa and Clouder is desirable 
Experience in Software Quality Assurance testing is desirable
Experience of Business Intelligence tools & services is highly desirable

Soft Skill Set
"Hands-on approach to software development & Solution delivery
Strong understanding of SDLC techniques including Waterfall, Agile
Proficient in technical documentation; reading, understanding & writing
