Environmental Engineer for Qatar

Kindly note that we have an urgent requirement for the position of Environmental Engineer for QATAR.

Job Description

1) Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, or Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.

2) Minimum of ten (10) years' of professional experience as a Senior Environmental Engineer preferably working on major highway projects

3) Certificate in ISO 14001 :2004 Environmental Management System

4) Specialist knowledge on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Studies, EIA Scope of Work I Terms of References, Environmental Permits and approval process, Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP), Environmental
Management Procedures, and knowledge on applicable national and international environmental laws, regulations and standards

5) Sound knowledge on identification, assessment, monitoring and management of air emissions, water and wastewater collection, treatment & disposal, energy consumption & greenhouse gas emissions, noise & vibration monitoring, chemicals storage, handling & transport, hazardous & non-hazardous waste transport and disposal requirements

6) Knowledge on Ecological Sustainable Development (ESD) principles and techniques, methods and technologies to drive sustainability by minimising waste emissions, energy consumption, material usage, recycling initiatives including raising awareness and motivation to achieve the corporate, business and
environmental goals, objectives and targets.

7) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
