We are having the following urgent openings in Petroleum Company of Kuwait for the Position of Operator II

Job Title: Operator II

Industry: Refinery (Downstream)

Education Qualification: Diploma in Refinery Operating Technology / Chemical Industrial OR 12 Years schooling, with specialization in Science OR Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering 

Years of Experience required as below: 
Qualification Total Experience Minimum DCS Experience
Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering 6 Years 2 Years
Diploma 7 Years 3 Years 
12 years schooling 8 Years 3 Years

Job Summary

Operates, on assigned shift all equipment of assigned unit/s either in Refinery, Gas Liquid or Support facilities (such as Utilities, Oil Movement, Export Operations, Sulfur and Coke handling) onsite and monitoring work stations, video terminals, panels and instruments in Control Room. 
Should acquire full knowledge of more than one unit / train / system, for both Control Room and outside operations.

Work experience should be in Refinery, Gas Liquid or support facilities with extensive experience at least in one of the following Units:
• Continuous Catalytic Regeneration Naphtha Reformers
• Hydrogen Plant
• Atmospheric Residue Desulphurization
• Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) (clause process)
• Hydro Cracking
• Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU)
• Tank Farm & Oil Movement
• Atmospheric Residue Desulphurization
• Delayed Coker
• Steam Boilers, Utility, Utility & Sulfur Handling Facilities
• K) Natural Acid Gas Removal
• LPG and Gas Processing
• LPG Storage and LPG Export
