Requirements

The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual with a proven track record in leading teams to test products to the highest quality, leading to excellent customer satisfaction. You are a creative technical leader with strong desire to improve product quality by implementing structured testing processes and tools. You are driven to take ownership of the issues and follow through to resolution. The role requires strong communication and coordination skills to work with Product Management, Sales and Engineering teams. You like building PC hardware, configuring different Operating Systems, installing drivers and troubleshooting problems. 

Key Responsibilities 
Leading a team to execute tests based on common and unique use cases, as well as participating in the execution of the tests as necessary
Developing test cases for new products, as well as maintaining and updating test cases for mature products
Developing process and procedures to maximize QA team productivity 
Managing defects uncovered and reporting on testing progress
Co-ordination with Product Mgmt and Engineering teams as required for execution and reporting of test progress and reports
Working with Engineering team during development of new products to support design verification before product is ready for full QA regression
Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports for Product Management and Engineering to improve product quality
Keep abreast of new relevant computing and USB industry standards and trends
Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities 

Qualifications

3+ years of work experience in product testing & quality management 
Excellent knowledge of methods and techniques for product testing 
Ability to think logically and to lead teams
Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking skills
Understanding and/or familiarity with interconnection technologies such as Ethernet, 802.11, and USB 
General understanding of video technologies such as DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort
Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
Proficient in latest MS-Office tools, web-usage and web-based tools

You will be a key contributor to Icrons product testing and quality management program. You must be proficient working in a multi-task and high pace environment while communicating and coordinating with different stake holders. The successful candidate must be legally able to work in Canada and will have completed a Bachelors degree or diploma in an Engineering or related field.
