Indian School Al Maabela (ISAM) was established in the year 2010 and is one among the leading educational institutions in Sultanate of Oman. ISAM is an English Medium co-educational school affiliated to Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE) and recognized by ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman.
ISAM's mission is "to inculcate all round development in our children by providing them with enough knowledge, guidance & support, value education and heritage in order to contribute towards building a peaceful society". The school always caters to the need of Indian Community students in Sultanate of Oman.

We are looking for dedicated and self-motivated teachers to join our team from August 2018. The post holder will be responsible for the learning and teaching policy, practice and implementation, student development and assist in shaping and implementing the educational strategy of the school.



Western Music Teacher


Key responsibilities include: 
• Embrace and encourage the ethos and standards of excellence as defined by the authorities, implement the school vision for quality linked with ISAMs expectation of excellence. Work closely with the Head of the Departments to establish effective and globally relevant practices of learning and teaching.

• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Should be a good team player and must have good organization skills.
• Expand your own musical experience by familiarizing yourself with the music your students listen to, learning another instrument, becoming familiar with other musical styles and developing your improvisation or vocal skills.
• Support students in their use of music technology by keeping up to date with major software tools and making use of recording and other technology.
• Arrange performance opportunities for your students, such as concerts, auditions and festivals.

Band Master

Work closely with the Head of the Departments to establish effective and globally relevant practices of learning and teaching.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities are all valuable skills for band managers to have 
• Should be a good team player and must have good organization skills.
• A band master works closely with a music group to help make major decisions regarding the creative and students development.
• A master needs to know when to take control of the band and make decisions, and when to step back and let the band have creative control of the direction in which they want to go.
• Prepares lessons that build on the knowledge base of his students and challenges them to do more advanced pieces of music. 
• Should follows state guidelines for the music program and works to ensure his students meet educational objectives.
Qualification : Graduate / Post graduate in the discipline

• Should have good computer knowledge and experience in various multimedia/other modern teaching technologies.
