Position Designation: Ruby on Rails Developer - Web Engineer (5 Openings) 

About the Organization: 
These openings are with a Tokyo based IT Product Company . They are into Social Networking Service (SNS) Products - Their Products are into Contents moderation AI service, Instagram marketing related SaaS, etc. The Product Development Team comprises of Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, Australian, American, Albanian & French nationalities. The Product Development Team works together at Tokyo office - and their mutual language is English. The Work Location would be Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo, 107-0052, Japan

Total Experience: 4 to 7 Years 

Role Definition: 
As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you'll be a part of the web services team. You shall be an individual contributor with the following responsibilities -

• Develop API backend and Web Application using Ruby on Rails + (PostgreSQL and MySQL)
• Build and develop frontend part from a designer finished Sketch or PSD file using HTML/CSS and ReactJS
• Develop and maintain test specs using Rspec and related frontend tests
• Support and debugging web applications as needed
• Optimize and profiling web applications using NewRelic and related tools
• Ignite and present a better solution to solve a problem to CTO/CEO
• Having fun and share your knowledge and visions with Junior developers

Mandatory Skills Required: 

• Bachelor degree and above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ Experienced with Ruby on Rails
• 4+ Experienced in any Web Development fields
• Expert-level proficiency in HTML/CSS and Javascript
• Expert-level proficiency in ReactJS
• Experienced with RESTful web services
• Knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform
• Able to do TDD and know how to write RSpec and frontend tests
• Want to work in fast-paced and hyper environment
• Fluent in English both oral and written
• Familiar with Python
• Experienced with high load and large scales environment (4 billion requests per month and above)
• Experienced in any mobile application development
• Able to troubleshoot, repair, and restart Unix-based system for HA
• Able to config and optimize database server for HA
• Experienced in building and managing automated test, build, deploy
• Have a passion for UI/UX and know how best design should look like

Salary & Additional Benefits: 

• 6 Million to 8 Million Japanese Yen - 40 to 50 Lacs INR (Approximate Conversion to INR)
