BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION
Knowledge of Tier 1/2 ERP systems
Knowledge of Windows/Unix environment
ASP.NET and Oracle/SQL skills
Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Basic, PHP, JavaScript or C skills
Knowledge of web-based applications
Software development technologies skills (development tools, programming languages, decision support, web, etc.)
Software development design concepts and development methodologies
Knowledge of at least one Microsoft/Oracle supported development environment, development toolset and application area
Knowledge of information technology processes and practices
Knowledge about the risks associated with the most common Web application security vulnerabilities.
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, Burp Suite, and Fiddler preferred
Bachelors Degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification
MCSD Certified or Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional
* Six years experience in systems/application development (coding) , implementation and
maintenance
Minimum Experience:
6 years experience in systems/application development and implementation.
Experience in the Logistics or related industry is an advantage
Technical Evaluation 
Detail
Experience in Tier 1, Tier 2 ERP systems, or in enterprise system implementation. Involved Tier 1 or
Tier 2 ERP Implementation.
Certified in Windows, Linux or Unix environment
Experience in web-based applications, PHP, Java & Java Script. Knowledge in Security Practices associated with application development.
Technical Evidence 
The candidate shall provide copy/copies of Programming Certification

Resposibility:
Responsibilities:

Develop an in-depth knowledge of the companys application portfolio, development tools, and

development procedures

Conduct requirements analysis to gain an understanding of business needs to develop level of effort estimates, software design / development, unit testing, performing design, code reviews and technical documentation

Participate in the development and review of business and system requirements to obtain a thorough understanding of business needs in order to deliver accurate solutions

Define and document application security requirements for applications

Provide development activities level of effort and duration estimates for schedule planning

Deliver required work on time design application solutions that fully implement business requirements

Develop high quality software code in accordance with established company standards and development guidelines

Produce technical documentation that accurately and thoroughly depicts the software design and code base. The documentation needs to sufficiently assist QA testing and production support activities.

Perform adequate unit testing of own and other developers application development work. At a minimum, unit testing should ensure all requirements have been addressed, all basic functionality works, and errors are handled properly

Troubleshoot application production issues quickly that resolve the issues without causing additional problems

Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems

Provide updates to the Technology Manager and Project Managers on work in progress, work completed, work planned and issues potentially impacting the on-time completion or quality level of work

Perform systems analysis and functional testing as needed

Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications to

ensure business needs are accurately translated into solutions.

Develops and manages application security to prevent hackers from compromising company

systems and information technical and communication skills very important
