CNC Machinist for Upeca Flowtech Sdn Bhd, Malaysia

Job Responsibilities/Duties:
1. To operate the machining centres in accordance with the process instruction and to provide production output in accordance with the required quality standards.
2. To be responsible for related machinery setting activities, cutting process, parts de-burring and sequence inspection of the parts produced.
3. To complete the process and cycle documentation diligently and accurately before forwarding the products to the next sequence.
4. To monitor, maintain and ensure that the machinery, tools, fixtures and inspection equipment are in good condition within the production area.
5. To conduct machinery maintenance activities including oil level monitoring, coolant top-up, and chips disposal.
6. To ensure shop floor cleanliness at all times through proper daily housekeeping activities.
7. To ensure that the Group's Quality Systems and Procedures are adhered to at all times.
8. To achieve KPIs set for Machinist.
9. To perform all other work as and when assigned.
10. To receive and act on any other instructions from the Section Leader / Team Leader, Production or any other person so delegated by him.

Required Candidate profile
Qualifications & Competencies:

Working Experience:
• Minimum 5 years experience with CNC based production exposure in manufacturing line especially in Oil & Gas background.

Education:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical I Tool & Die Engineering / machining

Job Requirements / Skill
• Able to read & write NC Programs.
• Able to use Measuring equipments.
• Must set up machines independently without guidance.
• Must able to identify the cutting tools for process.
• Able to run machine 100% without guidance.
• Able to understand Machining Process & explaining skills.
• Able to speak Basic English.
• Able to read technical drawings.

Knowledge (or any special requirement)
• Positive attitude to learn on the job.
• Understanding of geometric tolerance, machine speed selection, tool and inspection gauges selection.
• Familiar with all types of machining attachment, measuring instruments and various machining & clamping methods.
• Understanding of machinability for common materials.
• Able to set cutting tools to the holder and machine without instruction.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job.
