Rigging Foreman and Rigging Supervisor for Qatar Shutdown Job

We have openings for our prestigious client in Qatar, - IT IS A SHORT TERM JOB, they have openings for Rigging Supervisor & Rigging Foreman.

Below is the Job description.

A) Rigging Foreman

Qualifications/Experience:-

1) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2) Shall have 5 years experience in rigging operations within oil and gas field.
3) Shall be familiar with Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) or equivalent agencys lifting procedure.
4) Experience in Oil & Gas industries related to shutdown.
5) Shall possess a valid rigging supervisors certificate of competence issued by an internationally recognized body and endorsed certifying authority.( preferable approved by QP).

Job description:-

1) Identification of technical problems and its rectification.
2) Should have extensive experience in the erection of piping, static and rotary equipments for oil and gas industries, power plants, petrochemical plants, etc.
3) Should be fully familiar with the various lifting equipments i.e., Cranes, Derricks. Experience in heavy lifts and plant maintenance shutdown will be an advantage.
4) Should be able to carry out rigging work independently. Knowledge of safety in rigging and scaffolding is desired. Offshore experience will be given preference. Should have good communication skill in English Language.
5) Shall work in accordance with established procedure and specialized technical standards.
6) Familiarity with a variety of construction methods.
7) Ability to produce designs where constructability is a key consideration.
8) Familiar with relevant AS code and standard of Safe Work Practice governing Lift operation, safe use of lift appliance and rigging training


B) Rigging Supervisor

Qualifications/Experience:-

3) Shall be familiar with Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) or equivalent agencys lifting procedure.
4) Experience in Oil & Gas industries related to shutdown.
