Urgent opening for  Embroidery Incharge - Kampala, Uganda

Experience : 5-10 Years in Textile / Garment Factory operation

Qualification : H.S.C. +

Age: 28 - 40 Years

Major Responsibilities:

• To make daily production planning and ensure it work as per schedule.
• To Digitize/design the all the require work by using Wilcom software.
• To do raw material planning.
• To do worker shift planning.
• To co-ordinate with Printing, stitching for delivery schedule.
• To ensure the quality of the product.
• To train local staff and guide them as and when required
• To handle marketing/client complains and short out the issue as and when required.
• To make and review efficiency chart/target for each staff.
• To ensure that all the staff follow companies procedure and systems before going for mass production. (I.e. having the approval of Clients etc.)
• To ensure that commitments given are followed incase of alteration to be inform well in advance to the HOD or GM
• To ensure the machine are properly maintain.

Required Candidate profile

                   

Skills & Strength: 

• Technically sound in embroidery operations.
• Should know how to operate the embroidery 6-12 head machines.
• Should have complete knowledge digitizing with Embroidery software
• Should be able to manage or guide staff/supervisors
• Should have basic commercial knowledge in regarding costing of manpower and other production related cost.
• If person has printing or stitching knowledge its added advantage.
• Staff management skills
• Team worker
• Basic computer application knowledge like (word,Excel, powerpoint and other)
• Good Verbal & Written Communication Skills
• Interpersonal Skills
