Qualification:
B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc or equivalent

Experience Needed:
Over all: 5+ Years IT experience
Solid 1+ Year experience in Scala functional programming

Job Responsibilites:
----------------------------
- Work in cross-functional teams to write and test production quality, sustainable code for existing systems and to new systems
- Ensure that new and updated digital services are tested end to end for performance and are able to handle specified load / full loads at data usage
- Participate in Scrum Teams & provide feedback
- Mentor junior/apprenticeship fellow coleagues whenever needed
- Contribute continuous service / process improvement
- Contribute to a robust automated test suite to work in a continuous integration environment
- Sharing knowledge of tools and techniques with technical and non-technical team members in the digital team
- Providing second-line and on-call support whenever necessary
- Developing Restful microservices in Scala - Finch Spray/Akka, Cats,Shapeless and Play
- Services which uses Kafka,Spark streaming and Cassandra
- Pair programming / TDD
- Develop and deliver Scala components to internal business team users
- demonstrate a systematic and disciplined architectural, system design and programming approach
- Develop, prepare and maintain system documentation, including program descriptions and operational procedures
- Act as support personal during production releases
- Good skills with Big Data

Must have:

- Excellent programming skills with Scala
- Use and implementation of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, REST, JSON
- Experience in TDD
- experience using Kibana & Splunk for debugging
- Good understanding of web/agile technologies & protocols
- able to learn new programming technology tools and techniques
- Sound skills in SQL
