Qualification/Skills 

• RT, UT, MT, PT Certification is must.
• PAUT & TOFD Certification 
• Ability to develop a comprehensive test plan or procedure.
• Other certification like MFL, ACFM, LRUT, will be plus.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
• Code shooting capabilities.
• IRRSP or State Card. Specific Skills

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Should have sound knowledge and experience in different kinds of PAUT/TOFD Instruments.
• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Establish and execute NDT Techniques to properly examine hardware, ensuring adherence to all safety and specification requirements.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
• Document and organize inspection results.
• Interface and communicate with engineers to describe inspection results.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Knowledge of Inspection & NDT related, API & ASME Codes and Standards.
• Hands on experience with various ultrasonic equipments.

• Should have experience as a QC NDT inspector in Pipping
• Should be well conversant with ASME, AWS, ASTM, API codes and guidelines.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
• Interface daily with the client about work priorities and progress of projects
• Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions
• Work closely with client to identify and remove obstacles
• Actively participate in client safety initiatives, incident investigations, etc.
• May, at times work at heights on ropes.
