Production & Process Engineer

Job Description

Candidate should have production and manufacturing experience in essential oils processing.

Experience in processing biomass from botanical plants through Ethanol extraction, super critical co2 or sub-critical co2 extraction, winterisation, distillation and flash chromatography.

Working experience and knowledge in automated plants for botanical crude oil extraction, winterisation, distillation and flash chromatography is very essential.

Research & development experience or work experience in Hemp processing is an added advantage

The candidate should have the ability to think laterally and possess a sound understanding of engineering principles.

• Strong knowledge of oil production machinery and techniques.

• Need to travel to Overseas as per company requirement

Responsibilities

• Work closely with process chemists and control engineers to ensure the process plant is setup to provide maximum output levels and efficient running of the production facility.

• Research new products from trial through to commercialisation and improve product lines.

• Apply new technologies

• Perform Laboratory testing

• Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes.

• Ensure that potential safety issues related to the project operator, the environment, the process and the product are considered at all stages.

• Involved in the design and development of a diverse range of products.

• Work may take place in a lab, office or processing plant. Development work may progress from lab to plant or construction site.

• Assist in improving the quality of products and reducing production costs.

Employment Type :  Full time on contract to be based in India and work for Switzerland Project.
