Cost Accountant for Africa

 Roles and Responsibilities


Compares and reports standard costs to actual production costs and analyzes productions costs to recommend changes to management.

  • Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis 
  • Assist in month-end closing, analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward
  • Prepare collateral reporting
  • Coordinate with the IT department for system issues, maintenance and development such as production, purchasing, import/export.
  • Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories Daily/Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly
  • Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls
  • Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory, liability accounts by customer type by division
  • Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability
  • Work in special projects as required
  • Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management
  • Coordination with the production team, checking the production entries, wastage and end to end production cycle.

Desired Candidate Profile


The candidate should be an ICWAI/CMA with 5 to 10 years experience in the plastic Extrusion Industry.

Contract : 2 years


Salary : $ 1500 (Quarterly)

Local Allowance : GHS 1510 (Which can take care of your food & local expenses)

Accommodation & Transportation : Company will take care of it.

Visa & Travelling Ticket : Company will take care of it.

Leave : 45 Days leave unpaid after completion of first 2 years Contract
