The school


With a strong record of success at Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Level already well-established, the school commenced the implementation of the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary programmes in 2019. During 2020 DPS-STS school played a leading role in the establishment of quality online learning in Bangladesh, an initiative that was recognised internationally when the school was awarded the 2020 BETT MEA Award for Online Learning Strategy.

DPS-STS School has a strong programme of Professional Development and is a recognised centre for the Cambridge International PDQ (Professional Development Qualification).

Qualifications

A four year B. Ed OR subject degree with teaching diploma / certificate.

A relevant higher degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Education may be an advantage.

  • Experience and knowledge

Shortlisted candidates will have:


1. At least ten years teaching experience in an English-medium school.

2. At least two years experience of the Cambridge International curriculum as a teacher, department head or school leader.

3. Experience of successful educational leadership in a secondary school as a Head of Section or Dean of Academics or Head of Pastoral or similar secondary-wide position.

4. Knowledge of and commitment to the use of relevant Educational Technology.
