HR Officer for Norvik Group, Uganda (2+ years experience)

 To provide coordination and support in all Human resource initiatives, operations, performance management and staff development that are necessary to maintain a skilled and competent work force


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process, preparing JDs in line with HR standards as per Norvik Hospital Ltd policy
  • Support in carrying out induction and orientation of all new staff and initiate HR development programs according to processes and procedures
  • Implement of the performance management system at Norvik Hospital Limited in liaison with Heads of Departments
  • Monitor and implement appropriate staff well-being and services( e.g. relations, grievances, counseling, salaries and benefits)
  • Monitor and manage staff records and provide accurate HR information to customers in a timely manner.
  • Participate in developing, reviewing and interpreting policies and standards that govern all Human Resource initiatives at Norvik hospital
  • Update all personnel related information in the staff filling system.
  • Track all fulltime & part-time contracts to ensure they up & running and ensure contract preparation and Renewals
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports and other briefs to the Group HR & Admin as and when required
  • Manage employee leave in compliance with Norvik Hospital HR policies and procedures
  • Work with the TA system to input monthly duty rotas/timetables and leave updates
  • Manages employee exit programs and processes by administering exit interviews.
  • Prepare monthly payroll updates, capturing information such as New staffs/entries, exits, changes in staffs information
  • Manage human resource risks through health and safety measures
  • Manage the employee disciplinary file and necessary procedures.
  • Any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time

Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or any other related field.

Experience in a busy organization
