A large Job vacancy for shutdown projects TA 2022-2023 in Kuwait

Electrical & Instrument Supervisor - 18 Nos

Minimum 5 years in Electrical or Instrumentation maintenance /Construction / Shutdown

(Preferable in Petrochemical plants).

• Construction experience in oil / gas, refinery and petrochemical Industries
• In depth expertise/knowledge in construction / Maintenance E&I works (Conducting / Cabling /Instrument installation/Loop checking & commissioning etc.)
• Capability as a professional supervisor in handling project execution independently.
• Clear Knowledge in usage of relevant discipline related tools and testing equipments.
• Review of Construction Plans, Construction schedules, Safe job plans, Manpower & Equipment.
• Verification & Inspection of contractors scope of materials & Consumables etc.
• Verification & Inspection of conducting and cabling activity in the field
• Technical supervision of site construction activities and ensuring that Contractor adheres to CWP.
• Close monitoring of the Project on daily basis at site to ensure that Work is being carried out as per the P&ID and relevant drawings.
• Providing technical advice to contractor in the execution of the job as per Equate standards and Procedures.
• Co-Ordination between multiple contractors from various discipline and other functional Depts. and units for the successful flow of the work process.
• Ensure QC documentation as per the project requirement

Mechanical Supervisor - 19 Positions

Minimum 5 years of experience as Mechanical Supervisor

• To supervisor construction activities of projects to ensure work is carried out as per job requirements,
• Safely in an effective and effective way to meet the project execution schedule and approved cost.
• Thorough knowledge in supervising piping/structural works/Drawings
• Good knowledge in fabrication/welding/rigging/ relevant tools as required.
• Knowledge of safety & permits in oil & gas division.
• Understanding /preparing method statements/procedures / SJP etc.

QA/QC Inspector - 7 nos.

Minimum 8 years experience in Oil and Gas

Min CSWIP 3.1/AWS equivalent certification.

Min NACE Level-01/BGas equivalent

• Monitor/witness/verify all inspection activities for mechanical scope of project requirement as per code/standards/specification.
• Assure material control (through proper inspection, documentation and verification of MTRs and component markings)
• Verify that piping and components, structured are installed properly as per approve drawing.
• Verify that supports and anchors are installed properly as per approved drawing
• Establish and monitor filler metal control and storage.
• Monitor welding hold points (i.e. verify and witness fit-up, weld preparation, back gouge, tack welds, and root passes) as required in the QC Plan.
• Perform visual examination of completed welds and /or weldment for compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Monitor compliance with WPS, specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
• Assure that qualified welders are being used & their performance monitored.
• Good understanding of ASME codes &Standards (including ASME B31.3 & ASME Sec VIII )
• Thorough knowledge of ASME Sec IX ,Sec II & ASME Sec V
• Thorough knowledge of all Basic NDE methods (specially RT/PT/UT/VT & MT)
• Thorough knowledge of inspection requirements & its application.
• Knowledge of Inspection reports/QC Dossier. As per project requirements
• Good understanding of welding/ fabrication/NDE requirements
• Thorough knowledge of understanding drawings/symbols/piping components/valves/all piping materials, structural material etc.
• Knowledge of safety & permits in oil & gas division with related to NDE & Inspection.
• Good understanding of painting/defects & use of painting instruments
• Understanding of ITP/NCR/Quality dossier requirements

Project Construction Coordinator - 7 nos.

Minimum 5yrs of experience for Engineering Graduate

Minimum 12 to 15 years experience for Diploma

• Collaborate with external and internal contractors and suppliers for various construction activities and acquire all required permits and licenses for all construction processes and assist in development and construction.
• Ability to keep track of multiple projects.
• Experience in supervising construction projects
• A positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers
• To coordinate construction activities of projects to ensure work is carried out as per job requirements,
• Safely in an effective and efficient way to meet the project execution schedule and approved cost
