Sr. Technician for Rainbow Fame Industrial Ltd., Angola

 The potential candidate will be running an automatic liquid detergent filling line, as a lead operator. He will also be working as a team leader, ensuring proper training and safety of the junior technicians working under him.

Job Responsibilities:-

• Safe operation of liquid detergent filling line.
• Conduct daily production with minimum scrap percentage.
• Will simultaneously calibrate capping, labeling and unscrambler machines.
• Conduct SKU changeover process with minimal time span.
• Immediate response to machine breakdowns by performing technical solutions.
• Monitor multiple filling lines and manage junior technicians operating them.
• Responsible for maintenance of spare parts and other related accessories of the machine.
• Direct ownership of the cleanliness and effectiveness of liquid detergent filling operations while maintain a clean work area.
• Train junior technicians and the other team members to run filling lines independently, perform machine breakdown assistance, size changeover assistance, etc.
• Create, execute and maintain SOPs in order to ensure effective use of manpower and filling lines.
• Provide weekly report to the production manager regarding production output performance, preventive and corrective actions.
• Maintain documents related to production process.
• Proper co-ordination with the formulations team in order to prevent product mix up.
• Provide assistance in soap bar, detergent powder manufacturing, when needed.

Requirements:-

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in running liquid detergent filling line as a lead operator.
• Knowledge in running soap bar and detergent powder machine is preferred.
• Has a good track record of trouble shooting machine breakdowns single handedly.
• Practically executed OEE, SMED and 6S in production floor.
• Good leadership, communication and team building skills.
• Knowledge in formulation (raw materials mixing) is a plus.
• Willing to work for extended hours during emergencies, if needed.
