Some of the key responsibilities in the position are:
1. Graphical User Interface development.
2. Design and implementation of Custom Controls.
3. Implementing business logic below UI layer.
4. Review of and contact to external Control set providers.
Keeping yourself updated in new technologies will be an essential part of your job. Expect to read books and blogs, take courses and attend relevant Conferences.
1. 5 or more years of experience with GUI development.
2. Strong experience in .NET (framework 4.0) and in particular in C# and Visual Studio (2010).
3. He\She should have experience in working with Winforms.
4. Strong experience on Developer Express to make custom controls.
5. He\She should be familiar with Winforms lay-out architecture/control and should know a range of controls (not just the grid) using Developer Express.
6. He\She must also have experience in data binding.
7. He\She should be familiar with MVC/MVP and have knowledge of or experience in WPF and MVVM.
It would be a plus if he\she had experience with other leading UI control-set vendors also.
It would be quite helpful if you are aware of Pluggable Architectures, specifically if you have experience with SCSF (Smart Client Software Factory) or a similar product.
