1. Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software
2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network operating system
3. Be familiar with all hardware and software
4. Be familiar with network operating system
5. Provide orientation to new users of existing technology
6. Train staff about potential uses of existing technology
7. Train staff about new and potential use
8. Provide individual training and support on request
9. The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
10. Computer hardware and software systems and programs
11. Computer networks, network administration and network installation
12. Computer troubleshooting
13. Computer viruses and security
14. E-mail and internet programs etc.
