QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE:
Degree in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 15 to 20 years experience in Construction of Airport / IT Buildings / Malls / Hospitals / Hotels Projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
HSE Policy & Objectives
-Ensure implementation of HSE Policy
-Appraise the management on HSE status
-Work under HSE-Heads guidance and monitoring
-Liaise with external agencies/clients/customers
-Interfacing with Clients for smooth & effective monitoring
Staff deployment
Monitor the performance of subordinates
Legal
Identify all applicable legal requirements specific to that project; identify the frequency of compliance
IMS
Ensure the implementation of the HSE Management system and norms as per the IMS
Training
Designing and Imparting training for Staff, sub-contractor, workmen, visitors and develop modules.
Performance Monitoring
-Review and monitoring HSE performance of sites including compliance to LTG-HSE plan requirements
-Conduct site HSE inspections
-Organising & conducting HSE audits
Planning
-Preparing Project specific HSE plans & related documents
-Co-ordinate for preparing the HSE Risk Assessment & Safe work method.
-Facilitating and providing inputs to contracts in the contract preparations, new ventures etc.
-Prepare and review the method statements.
Campaigns and competitions
Organise Campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programmes to promote HSE at work place
PPE
Assist Head HSE in the usage of quality PPEs
Incident Investigations
-Investigate all serious incidents & initiate necessary corrective & preventive actions at site.
-Analyse incident trends & initiate necessary Proactive measures at project site
Emergency Response
Act as a catalyst for establishing, implementing & maintaining emergency preparedness and response procedure at cluster offices
HSE statistics
-Collating and reporting the site HSE statistics
-Ensuring on the implementation of the required HSE points for the project.
