Job description
Requirement of Estimation Engineer Insulation
1. Experience in estimation and tendering insulation works (heat conservation, cryogenic etc.) for major oil and gas projects.
2. Experience in estimation of maintenance works in insulation, painting, scaffolding etc.
3. Reading of general drawings such as P & ID, piping isometrics, key plans, vessel, machinery drawings.
4. Insulation, painting quantity calculations based on site visits.
5. Identification of missing information if any, correspondence, clarification and coordination with major clients.
6. Calculation of insulation material quantities according to the relevant specification.
7. Knowledge of insulation materials and manufacturers / suppliers worldwide.
8. Floating material enquiries, bid tabulation, selection of materials.
9. Knowledge of manpower norms for the above defined works.
10. Estimation of resource requirement.
11. Preparation of manpower, staff, equipment deployment schedules.
12. Preparation of method statement, ITP for insulation works.
Experience in middle east, refractory works etc. will be an added advantage.
Salary will be commensurate based on previous track records and experience.
