Job Description:
- Will be fully responsible for managing all IT related operations for a particular Division.
- Fully responsible for the smooth functioning of all the Servers and other hardware hosted by the Group at various branches in West Africa under the particular Division. 
- Will manage a team of support personal in carrying out day to day IT operations at various branches.
- Installs, tests, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software; 
- Implements and Monitors Servers \ PC standards and procedures in line with the Company Policies. 
- Facilitates backup and recovery procedures according to the Backup policies; 
- Provides technical guidance and monitors problem/change activities to ensure effective resolution of end user problems. 
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and resolving operational infrastructure Issues. 
- Provide assistance to IT Manager for purchase of all IT tools, supplies and assets for the company including negotiating price, delivery and credit terms. 
- Provide assistance to IT Manager for evaluating vendors and determines most cost-effective supplies inventory and reorder levels and to coordinate activities with all departments. 
- Provides online and telephonic support for end users. 
- Provides End User Training and carry out overall IT Documentation. 
- Responsible for ensuring IT Security standards are in place at various branches in West Africa and maintains service logs & security incident reports. 
- Evaluates efficiency and analyze performance; make modifications to tuning parameters to improve overall performance for Servers, Computers and the various Network devices; 
- Responsible for any other incidental & ancillary operational activities resulting in IT infrastructure 
- Reports directly to the Group Network Manager and IT Manager West Africa 

Desire Profile:- 

Must have very good hands on experience in handling installation, configuration & administration of SQL Server 2005; Handling Backup\Restore strategies of SQL databases; Monitoring and troubleshooting of SQL Issues 
Must have very good hands on experience in handling installation, configuration & Administration of Windows Server 2003, Active Directory and Group Policies 
Should have good skills in resolving of Issues on Outlook Web Access [OWA], POP3, IMAP running on a Windows Domain Environment, Good knowledge of Windows Terminal Services and familiar with using Backup softwares for carrying out backup and recovery processes on Windows environment. 
Must have sound knowledge on Networking concepts; installation and Configuration of Wireless LAN, Routers, Switches & Firewalls and VPN; Knowledge of VOIP and IP Telephony will be an added advantage. 
Should have good communication skills in supporting End users and in managing a Team. 
Must be willing to travel to various branch offices in West Africa for carrying out installations and for on site support. 
Should have good documentation skills and should have carried out Asset Management, Purchase Inventory etc relating to all IT Operations. 
Should be capable of troubleshooting all sorts of client connectivity issues in terms of Emails & Web application; Support Desktop [Windows XP, Windows Vista] and Server [Windows 2000, Window2003] based on industry standard brands and install, test, troubleshoot, and maintains hardware and Software; Help-Desk Support through telephone to all the users of the Group & also providing emergency support during outages. 

Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years or more of Hands on experience on SQL Server 2005 and 5 to 6 yrs or more experience in the IT Field. 
Education :- BCA/M.tech.-IT
Salary Range 1000-1200 UDS per month
