Instrument Technician
Qualifications & Knowledge: Completion of an accredited industry recognized apprenticeship
specific to the discipline. Diploma in Instrumentation or Control System Engineering / BSc.
Familiarity of operation, maintenance and calibration of field instruments and preservation of
field instruments after the completion of testing. Ability to support loop testing, cause and
effect testing at site. Able to perform function testing as per approved procedure for Hydraulic
Power Units, Emergency Shutdown systems, Wellhead Control Panels. Able to perform
testing of hydraulic and pneumatic valves with analog signal and On/Off signal at workshop
and site as per the approved project procedure. Moderate communication skills and ability to
understand instructions from Engineers I Vendors in English. Saudi Aramco Permit to Work
(PTW) accredited, with recognizable working at height training (WAT).
Experience: A minimum of fifteen years trade experience with eight years demonstrable
offshore Oil & Gas, which must include working on Brownfield platforms, and or two years
onshore live gas processing facility, with minimum 3 year commissioning experience.
