- Contribute to and implement agricultural programs in conjunction with Senior Management
- Coordinate production and technical management of farming operations in the Jos region
- Set up and manage Irrigation, Chemical, Fertilization, Environmental programs
- Initiate and manage Plantation development
- Recruit and manage local labourers / employees as required for the efficient operation of the business
- Control with assistance administration reporting regarding production orders / stocks / expenses etc.
- Budget and forecast weekly / monthly / quarterly production and provide regular procurement requirements
- Liaise closely with Group Financial Manager on all stock issues and transactions generated at operational level
- Provide any ad-hoc study / reporting required by Senior Management
- BSc in Agric or a Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent
- At least 5 years experience as a production manager
- At least 3 years experience in potato farming
- Strong managerial skills
- Knowledge of the technical, and some economic aspects of farm management
- Good knowledge of irrigation
- Comfortable in a start-up environment
- Trained to work with various types of farm machinery
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing ENGLISH
