It was founded in 1995 as a joint venture between government-owned Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) and Union Carbide Corporation, now a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company, and Boubyan Petrochemical Company - a public company traded on the Kuwait Stock Exchange. Current ownership of the organization sees Dow Chemical Company and PIC each retaining 42.5%, Boubyan Petrochemical Company holding 9%, and the remaining 6% owned by Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company - a private company established in Kuwait during 2004

Qualification: Diploma in Technical field
- Experience: Should have 8 10 years of experience in a Maintenance Environment (Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical)
- SAP Knowledge (Planning, PM Module and Materials Module)
- To review different kinds of maintenance requirements, consult with engineers, operations personnel etc. prepare and monitor maintenance plans, schedules with sufficient resources requirements for shutdown maintenance work and develop a master maintenance-planning schedule in conjunction with the maintenance personnel for optimization of plant and equipment availability
