Watan's Social & Technical Services Association (WSTA) is a non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian organisation, registered with Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Afghan NGOs Coordination Bureau (ANCB), Afghan Coordination body (ACBAR), Ministry of Women's Affairs (MoWA) Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations (MoRR) and other coordination bodies and donors.
Watan Social and Technical Service Association (WSTA) is a humanitarian agency, established in 1992 for the purpose of providing humanitarian assistance to Afghans in Pakistan and Afghanistan. 
WSTA started its activity through providing training on small leather- craft income- generating activities to Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Within a short period of time, the organization managed to market its leather products successfully in Pakistan. Success in production and marketing of leather products enabled this organization to expand its activities in other fields related to the reconstruction and development of Afghanistan. During the Taliban Regime in Afghanistan WSTA had been providing the most vulnerable and poorest people with bakery services which funded by WFP and care international. After the collapse of Taliban's regime WSTA started implementing projects for returnees which were displaced to neighboring countries during civil war, Most of the projects implemented were provision of basic services such as Shelter, Water, food, Education and Livelihood opportunities for Men & Women. 
Till end of 2018 WSTA implemented totally (160) Projects funded by different Donors (UNHCR, UNOCHA, UNWFP, IOM, IRC, Care-International, USAID, Australia Aid, Canada Fund and Relief International

    Write fundraising materials, including concept notes, proposals, EOIs, RFPs and reports, writing in a variety of styles ranging from highly technical to more personal.
    Determine proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs
    studying requests for proposal (RFPs)
    Develop Proposals by gathering information including project nature, objectives, outcomes, deliverables, implementation methods, schedule, staffing, budget, standard of performance, and evaluation. Writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials
    Meet proposal deadline by establishing priorities
    Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals.
    Preparation of presentations
    Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone.
    Obtain approvals by reviewing proposal with key providers and project managers.
    Improve proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, implementing changes.
    Prepare financial documents to accompany fundraising materials, including proposal budgets, grant expense reports, and budget and expense report narratives.
    Maintain a working knowledge of the interests and expectations of the organizations major foundation funders.
    Research current and prospective foundation partners and analyze grant-making strategies and histories to prepare briefing materials.
    Other duties as assigned
      A Proposal writer is needed to write evidence based proposals for WSTA donors. She/he will coordinate the Proposal development process by working with WSTAs technical teams, funding and finance staff, also with senior management to bring together all necessary information and resources. The overall deliverable is a high quality, timely, credible, successful and winnable Proposal for WSTA organization
