We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organizations desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery
Desired Experience:
• Veritas NetBackup, Backup Exec, Rubrik backup solution and VEEAM.
• Installing, Implementing, Monitoring and troubleshooting of NetBackup Server and Client agent configurations, Understanding of NetBackup process flow. Handling Different PC Operating Systems ( Windows 7/8 and 10)
• Performing Hardware Software Installation (NetApp).
• Configuring Policy, NetBackup Client and NetBackup Server.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools installation & troubleshooting
• Superior customer service and people skills.
• Field experience supporting a variety of technologies and services like Veritas Enterprise Vault.
• Ability to juggle time and resources to meet or exceed expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
- Asset management
- Asset refresh activity, install SOE, Assign the user, help the user to configure the new device
- Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
- Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
- Take user Signoff
- Conduct remote troubleshooting
- Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
- Record technical issues and solutions in logs
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
- Report customer feedback and potential product requests
- Help create technical documentation and manuals
- Knowledge of AA Security
- Patch Management
- Good knowledge of NetApp, NetBackup
- Outlook Troubleshooting
- Cisco and ITIL
- System administration
