Roles and Responsibilities
- Minimum a bachelors degree in computer science or related field similar qualification with a minimum of five years of relevant working experience
- Good programming skills with a programming language such as Java (Mandatory), JavaScript (secondary), and Phyton (optional)
- Good knowledge in MariaDB Database design and PL SQL programming
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Able to develop secure and scalable backend APIs.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, design patterns, Agile methodologies, and tools
- CI/CD and microservices skills to develop and deploy in containers and Kubernetes
- Able to implement unit tests and carry out software testing including functional and integration testing.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- A team player that can also work independently under tight deadlines for commercial-grade software
Desired Candidate Profile
An analytical, results-driven backend developer who will work with team members, especially front-end developers, to design, develop, troubleshoot, and improve backend applications and processes. As part of an agile team, involvement also includes user requirement gathering, design thinking, and design phase. Able to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users. Excellent communication, computer, and project management skills.
Hands-on experience with API and Microservices is a must.

Desired Candidate Profile
A front-end developer who is able to balance functional and aesthetic design. Responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties. Required to work in teams alongside backend developers, graphic designers, and user experience designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent.
