Senior Process Quality Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of quality engineers, technicians & inspectors
- Lead strategic level improvement activities
- Coach and develop the team in terms of technical quality management tools, approaches and principles 6 Sigma tools and techniques
- Develop the team ensuring competence in critical quality skill requirements
- Deputise in the absence of the quality engineering manager
- Lead complex and business critical problem-solving teams to resolve high level and complex product and process related problems
- Manage and ensure delivery of department KPIs
- Create monthly management reports & report into the management & senior management groups
- Lead Quality risk reduction activities to reduce quality risks (FMEA, QA Network)
- Lead site wide defect reduction process, generating weekly & monthly scrap reports
- Lead & manage process capability assessments, manage the schedule and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Manage the quality engineering team MSA schedule attainment, ensuring studies are conducted on-time and to the right level of quality
- Provide quality engineering support to a dedicated area of the business, providing support for the resolution of issues and leadership of defect reduction activities
- Planning, conducting, reporting and effectively communicating quality tasks and activities to internal and external customers
- Ensure timely facilitation of customer concerns by the quality engineering team, assuring customer issues are resolved with defined timescales with robust actions prevent recurrence
- Taking responsibility for the resolution of quality issues through the structured application of problem solving and root cause analysis techniques
- Supporting other members of the operations team in conducting quality tasks and activities
- Performing continuous improvement within projects and across operations to support the strategic goals of the site

International Experience is must
