Training Coordinators

Urgently required for one of the most Renowned Refinery in UAE (Abu Dhabi / Ruwais) Covering Crude Oil & Condensate Refining, Supply of Petroleum Products Production of granulated Sulphur.
BASIC FUNCTION
-Assists the Senior Training Coordinator with the identification of training needs, developing training plans and programs, coordinating facilities and monitoring all the training requirements for the plant.
-Provides administrative assistance and logistics support related to training activities in the preparation and implementation of approved training plan. Assists in preparation of training manuals. Conducts classroom lectures and tests for groups and individuals.
WORK PERFORMED
-Participates as directed in conducting the necessary Training need analysis to identify the training and career development needs of the personnel at the plant. To ensure that the necessary upgrade of skills and the development of staff is undertaken to enable the plant to be operated with the new technologies and in a safe and efficient manner.
-Participates as directed in developing training plans and programs to fulfill the approved training requirements and coordinates and monitors their implementation. To ensure that the approved training and development needs are implemented successfully and that approved training and development needs are implemented successfully and that personnel attain their training goals in a cost effective manner.
-Participates as directed in the coordination of all aspects of the training carried out for the plant personnel ensuring that the logistics of facilities, material etc. are available. To ensure that the training plans and programs are implemented smoothly and that any problems that arise are dealt with to the satisfaction of all concerned parties.
-Participates as directed in the monitoring of the progress of developees and trainees and in the assessment of their achievements and capabilities.
-Maintains to appropriate records and training history for all personnel.
-Monitors in conjunction with the line management/developees mentors the progress of developees and trainees, assesses their achievements and capabilities, recommends the appropriate adjustments to training programs and prepares appropriate adjustments to training programs and prepares appropriated reports. Liaises with plant management and headquarters on the implementation of any identified action to ensure that all personnel received the correct training and development
-Provides technical advice and assistance to various departments in the designs and implementation of on-the-job training programs, analyses the results and recommends adjustments accordingly.
-Conducts, as required, classroom and on-the-job training utilizing the appropriate tools and techniques. Develops where appropriate the necessary materials required to conduct this training. To support the training and programs in areas of his expertise.
-Ensure the maintenance of appropriate records and training history for all personnel, including those under development.
-Organizes orientation programs and plant visits for A.T.I students, Al Ain University students, new employees and other visitors.
-Assists, advises and counsels newly employed UAE National to ensure thorough awareness and understanding of Company objectives.
-Coordinates with other departments, as required, to obtain and utilize their expertise and assistance in fields outside his own.
-Performs any other similar and related duties as assigned. Includes developing training manuals, performing all administrative and routine correspondence matters related to training activities etc.
-Select Vendors for required training program and courses (In-house and Overseas)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
-B. Sc. Degree in and Engineering Discipline. A diploma in education is preferable.
-Minimum 5 years diversified experience in training and career development in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry with direct experience in plant operations and vocation training.
-Good knowledge of English and Arabic. Computer knowledge is required.

Training Instructors
Experience: 6 to 11 yrs.
BASIC FUNCTION
Provides training and support to U.A.E. National Developees on the job site regarding Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument maintenance and administers procedures for verification of Competencies as per Development Programs.
WORK PERFORMED
-Guides the Developees to examine faulty equipment to determine scope and requirement, obtain necessary tools and spare parts and proceed to work site to carry out the maintenance job.
-Trains the Developees on how to carry out skilled faultfinding, diagnosis and defect repair indicated by regular predictive checks, or failures of equipment reported by Operational personnel. Includes checking equipment to locate faults, determining the faults and the appropriate method of repair and carrying out or directing repair work such as dismantling, assembling, replacement, and repair of defective equipment and components.
-Instructs Developees in carrying out predictive and preventive maintenance checks and tests on running equipment and machinery. Includes taking correct measurements of clearance, tolerance and alignment within acceptable limits using a wide range of precision instruments such as laser optic equipment, gauges and technometers.
-Determines, in conjunction with Supervisor, where and when major equipment or sub-assemblies have to be removed to the workshop for major repairs or overhaul, and schedules Developees to participate in these activities.
-Schedules Developees to participate in new installations, modifications and testing of equipment through various stages. Runs offload and on-stream tests to ensure proper operation, assures himself of correct alignment, checks temperature readings at each stage and hands over repaired unit to operations personnel.
-Compiles task books, with measurable objectives for tasks, and updates as required.
-Maintains Training files and prepares monthly progress reports on Developees. Provides feedback to Training Unit and Administration Department as necessary.
-Provides required Training and knowledge to the Developees as per the Career Development Program.
Complies with all safety and fire rules and regulations, including the use of protective clothing and equipment, and ensures that all trainees working in his area comply with safety regulations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-B.Sc. in an engineering discipline. (Mechanical / Electrical / Process / Instrumentation & Control)
-Minimum 6 years work experience (subject to qualification as above) in Condition monitoring of heavy-duty rotating equipment, within oil/gas industry or power plants, at least 3 years of which should have been in a Training function (On-job) in his Discipline.
-Experience in preparing Training materials and familiarity with Competency Based Programs is required.
-Good knowledge of English Language.
