Training Specialist (UAE)

Experience: 10 to 15 yrs.



An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company, that functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.

JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE:

- Participates in the development of the Fire and Rescue Service/Oil Spill Training Section

- Manage the training program delivery.

- Mentor and Tutor trainees as regards discipline and conduct.

- Ensure and Oversee Technical assistants duties and work delivery.

- Manage and Mentor Trainees to ensure the highest standard of training is being delivered.

- Delivers Fire and Rescue Service/Oil Spill training courses that meet the companys safety standards, on schedule.

- Develop scheduled reports and partake in analysis related to Fire and Rescue/Oil Spill Training.

REMUNERATION

- An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

- 5 years experience involved in Fire Fighting, Rescue and Support activities, Fire Protection, Fire Prevention, Emergency Response and the use of Life Support equipment utilised within the Aviation, Oil and Gas Industry and HAZMAT response.

- Recongised Fire Service qualifications.

- Hold NFPA Fire Officer 1, Instructor 1 or the UK Fire Service Fire Officer and HAZMAT Technician or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 5 years experience as a professional trainer within an operational Fire Fighting Organization.

- Proven experience of operating as part of a team at major operational incidents with an understanding of the environmental and economic impact.

- Proven experience in HAZMAT response.

- Considerable experience of working in a disciplined uniformed fire service.

- Experience of working within a recognized Training Facility.

- Experience within the Oil and Gas Industry preferable.
