Business Development Manager for Global Shipping & Logistics LLC (UAE)

Experience: 3 to 8 yrs.



Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Manage multiple sales opportunities from mid to big ticket values and sales cycles
- Identify and develop new target accounts and develop new opportunities within our existing customer base
- Be able to liaise with senior executives to understand their business requirements and position the GSL value proposition and brand.

- Age: between 35 to 45 years old 
- Preferably with UAE 3PL experience 
- Proven experience in winning new business opportunities and developing new opportunities within existing customer accounts 
- Extensive solutions sales experience- at major accounts level 
- Proactive and able to self-manage and prioritizes work accordingly 
- Evidence of managing complex and sometimes lengthy sales cycles 
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 
- An understanding of our market and in particular the vertical within which this opportunity lies 
- Demonstrates innovation and service excellence in delivering solutions to customers 
- Team orientated
