Sales Manager (Zambia)

Experience: 5 to 10 yrs.


1. Get 90% Market Share in BB bags segment in the regional market comprising of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi & DRC and also 40% Market Share in the normal bags & jumbo bags segment of this market - Longer term Company Goal.
2. Become preferred supplier for all existing customers.
3. Undertake effective advertising & publicity activities.
4. Ensure production capacity utilization is above 95%.
5. To increase the turnover by 50% in the first year and subsequently double the turnover in the third year and fifth year.
6. Profitability to sales target by year end - 15% of Turnover. This would be profit before tax.
7. Minimum growth on volumes on every existing customer - 20% per annum.
8. Average Debtor days to be maintained at less than 45 days.
9. Be instrumental in the establishment of 3 to 5 years business plan
10. Prepare annual sales budget with product-wise and customer-wise forecasting 

- Graduate with a MBA specializing in marketing management.
- Candidate should have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Preferably from plastic industry background
- Should be analytical and understand the complexity of pricing and profitability areas
- Should be well-versed working with MS-Office especially Word, Excel, Power Point presentations. - Should have good knowledge to work using IT & contemporary communication tools.
- Must be innovative towards product development
- Aggressive, target oriented and must be a good team player focused on continual growth
- Must be a strategic planner and goal setter with long term vision and objective
- Good communication skill is required
- Candidate must be willing to travel in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, DRC, Tanzania and other neighboring markets
