JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work in the areas of design and R&D

Partner with Integration & Verification team

Develop methodologies and explore possibilities to identify code complexity & risk areas in code

Develop strategies for code coverage requirements to designers and testers based on code complexity

Collaborate with leads in R&D operations and design/test engineering to make recommendations that fit the organization

Produce a report at the end of the internship with actionable product or process enhancement recommendations based on your

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE (INCLUDING EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS)

Knowledge of virtualization, Linux (systems level) and Layer 2 & 3 protocols is a plus

Excellent C programming skills (on Linux)

Strong data-driven approach; experience with data warehousing or data mining a plus

Self-starter and natural ability to work in a lean environment

Solid balance of strategic thinking and ability to get things done

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; with related coursework and experience

CO-OP PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS

Enrolled in an accredited program with a minimum of 3 credits working towards a bachelors, masters, or PhD

Availability for 6-month Co-Op (January - June or July - December)

Availability for a full-time work (min 35 hours/week) during a traditional school semester, quarter, or trimester

Student must sign a non-disclosure agreement / adhere to guidelines on information release for Co-Ops

Student and University must agree to accept Ericsson's standardized student performance evaluation form for any requirements to complete course credit

Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
