Job Description:-
Manage audit projects and program execution
Provide deep subject matter expertise, advice, and audit program delivery
Co-lead discussions with staff, leadership, and auditee / client
Contribute to the development of new audit techniques and plans within areas of expertise
Work on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables
Adapt to projects, programs, or methods based on customer or business partner feedback
Execute scope areas with defined requirements
Review and summarize work of junior Auditors across engagement for leadership review
Review end to end IT / business / financial
processes spanning multiple functional areas for completeness and risk identification
Research and identify alternatives to existing processes which drive either heightened controls or control simplification
Integrate trends, data, and information into plans, deliverables, and recommendations
Responsible for conducting information systems and operational audits to review and assess the adequacy of internal controls
This includes conducting pre-implementation and post- implementation system reviews; participating in project committees to support business plan projects; partnering with the Financial Audit Team to perform integrated audits; conducting physical inventories; coordinating with external auditors as required; working on special projects; and performing other responsibilities/tasks as assigned
This role will independently and objectively assess the controls, reliability, and integrity of the company's information Technology environment to assist with maintaining and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of IT risk management, internal controls and corporate governance
Key requirements
10+ years of relevant audit experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience with deep understanding of IT risks and controls
Experience performing and managing IT audits and security reviews of a wide range of operating systems, applications, and databases such as Windows Server, Oracle, HP-UX, AIX, OS/400, Solaris, and
SQL Server
Experience with COBIT framework
Ability to be responsible for assessing risks to the organization and developing recommendations to strengthen the control environment and streamline operational processes
Experience with IT concepts and controls is necessary to perform in this role
Must have knowledge of IT controls (change management) and Systems audit requirements
Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of generally accepted
auditing standards
Good understanding of COBIT framework, risk assessment practices and internal controls design.
Good understanding of major business processes
Sound judgment and ability to make good recommendations and decisions
Qualification:-Bachelor Degree in Computer SC or Business Administration or relevant
Certification:-CISA is required, ITIL is preferred.
Nationality:-Indian
The tenure of this is 2 years extendable.
