Accountable for the delivery of all technology related projects including developments and implementation of new business application, software and ongoing enhancements. Integrate the legacy systems for seamless flow of information and design and develop knowledge sharing platforms through IT
As a Head of IT, provide support for the organization as a whole and develop a cross-technology strategy in line with corporate aspirations, Continue strategic approach, innovation and best practices in the use of technology and IT
Make decisions on short and long term uses of technology within the development/product roadmap in consultation with the management team.
Work with the management team to ensure market leading technology and tools are implemented and used for business engagements to deliver world class IT infrastructure and business applications.
Lead and manage technical team with clear structure and processes for various business processes.
Manage development plans, business proposals, budgets, delivery time estimates and meeting those time estimates
Utilize project management methodology and agile software practices, where appropriate, to enhance business communication and to provide user scenarios for developments.
Ensure security across all Business applications and infrastructure.
Manage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and partners. Oversee out-sourced software developments and deliveries.
Significant experience in managing IT projects from inception to delivery either in a web development or systems management environment
Exceptional hands-on experience with IT infrastructure management, ERP implementations, Project management & delivery. Strong understanding of ERP functionality, software development architecture and project management (ideally agile development)
Awareness of the current industry related technology for developments and a passion to seek more information in the future
Must be creative with initiative and drive, Must take a pro-active approach and be a team player. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
