Retail Sales Associate for Al Zaman Trading Company, Saudi Arabia

Experience: 2 to 5 yrs.


Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs and induce customer to buy the product by convincing him or her. 

Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, using the POS to complete a sales deal by making the necessary entries and handing out the bill of purchase to the customer. Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.

Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.

Maintain records related to sales.

Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
Arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.

Clean shelves, counters, and tables.

Maintaining the Inventory stock and requisition of new stock.

Meeting set sales targets

Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.

Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.

Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
